Classic Film Screening and Bestselling Author Speaking at Newton Library

This Saturday, Jan. 25 from 2 - 4 p.m., Boston Globe bestselling author and Newton resident Hank Phillippi Ryan is visiting Newton Free Library. The event features a public screening of the classic film To Kill A Mockingbird, followed by a Q&A with Ryan. Ryan is the only winner of the 2013 Mary Higgins Clark Award, as well as other prestigious crime fiction awards and 30 EMMYs for her investigative reporting. She will also discuss her career as both an award-winning TV reporter and a successful crime fiction author. New England Mobile Book Fair will be available to sell signed copies of Ms. Ryan's novels. Light refreshments will be served.

The event is free and open to the public.
