Chad Stumpo, son of local celebrity Cindy Stumpo of HGTV's Tough As Nails, will compete in the 70th Italian Open golf tournament from September 19-22 in Turin, Italy. The competition is part of the highly anticipated PGA European Tour and will be held this year at Golf Club Torino – La Mandria. At just 20 years old, Chad is the second youngest player in the tournament and is the only American amateur set to compete. Stumpo is ranked 1,560th in the world and has the lowest average score among all of his Italian competitors.
