ROX Café is doing its part for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October by offering a special pink dessert for the entire month. The Pink Raspberry Panna Cotta with Crushed Almond Biscotti, Chocolate Sauce, “Pink” Whipped Cream and Fresh Mint will be served for $8, with 25% of the proceeds from the sale of each dish benefiting Susan G. Komen Massachusetts® (Komen MA).With seventy-five (75) percent of net proceeds generated by Komen MA staying in Massachusetts, they are able to fund educational programs, offer grant money to organizations that support its mission, and help better the lives of those facing breast cancer locally.
Another restaurant doing its part for Breast Cancer Awareness is Strega Prime in Woburn. They will be serving a Raspberry Semifreddo for $11, with 20% of the proceeds from the sale of each dish benefiting Komen MA.
