Showcase SuperLux to Host the Ultimate Hunger Games: Catching Fire Opening Weekend Event

On November 21st and 22nd, Showcase SuperLux at The Street in Chestnut Hill will introduce a slew of fun additions, available exclusively for select showings of the highly-anticipated movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.  On top of Showcase SuperLux’s amenities, like ultra-plush leather seating and the best sound and visual effects only found in theatres, movie-goers are invited to enjoy:

Complimentary Hunger Games: Catching Fire hairstyles, courtesy of stylists from the three “Best of” award-winning Salon Capri locations. Featured looks will include dry styles, such as Katniss’ iconic side braid and Prim’s sought-after wrap-around braid. First in line, first served. *Styling will begin approximately 1.5 hours prior to the movie start times.

Specialty Hunger Games-themed cocktails available for purchase in the lounge and via in-seat dining before, during and after movie showings. Inspired cocktails featured will include the “Prim Rose Martini”, “The Mockingjay Mojito” and “The Tracker Jacker,” which includes Makers Mark, Amaretto and apple juice.    

Exclusive Hunger Games-themed small bites and mocktail samples in the lounge prior to the screenings. Specialty bites include, “Peeta’s cookies” and “Capitol Grade mini macaroons,” accompanied by hand crafted mocktails including, the “The Victory Tour” and the “Gale Fizz”. *Samples will begin to be served approximately 1.5 hours prior to the movie start times.

Prize giveaway opportunities, including limited-edition Hunger Games: Catching Fire t-shirts, bracelets and replicas of Katniss’ lucky charm, the Mockingjay pin, while supplies last.  

Opening weekend festivities will also take place at Cinema de Lux at Legacy Place in Dedham.
