Fans Revel in Red Sox Victory, Grab World Series Gear

The Red Sox third World Series victory was just in the bag when fans rushed out to grab their World Series gear. 

Modells on Needham Street in Newton was filled with fans late Wednesday. A photo sent by Dick Lee, a.k.a @newtonmortgage, shows fans lined up outside the store. 

The city got into the Red Sox's playoff run. O'Hara's Food & Spirits in Newton Highlands changed its sign to read "UE'HARA'S."

This championship had special meaning for many after the April Marathon Bombings. Several players - including David Ortiz and Shane Victorino - referenced the Boston Marathon Bombings and paid tribute to the victims after the game.
