Five Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 23

A free concert, a BOGO event and a chance and info on flu vaccines.

1. Looking for Christmas Eve services? Check out our events calendar. And, if your service isn't already in our calendar, make sure you add it! It takes just a couple of minutes and it's completely free. Simply click the "Add an Event" button at the top of the calendar.

2. Flu vaccines available by appointment. The Newton Dept. of Health & Human Services is offering flu vaccines by appointment. Call 617-796-1420 for more information and to make an appointment. 

3. Free concert. Pianist David Hagan will give a solo concert today at the Newton Free Library. The performance will start at 2 p.m. and include works by Mendelssohn, Beethoven and Chopin.

4. BOGO at Whole Foods. The Whole Foods in Four Corners will host a special Buy One Get One Sale tonight from 10 p.m. to midnight. There will be music, raffles, drink samples and more.
