At a recent League of Women Voters Massachusetts meeting in Peabody, the group elected a local woman to serve as a co-president.
Newton resident Anne Borg is now on the Mass. League of Women Voters' board as a co-president, according to a recent League of Women Voters announcement.
Marilyn Peterson of Acton was also elected to serve in that capacity.
The group of new elected board members and directors hail from all over the Commonwealth. Each of them has been elected to a two-year term lasting until May of 2015.
