More Newton Village Day Celebrations Coming in September

Following the successful village days in Nonantum, Newton Highlands and Waban, a couple of other Newton villages have planned celebrations.

You've seen them in , and . Now, a village day celebration could be coming to a neighborhood near you.

Both Newton Upper Falls and Newtonville will hold village days next month, with the and Newtonville Village Day on Saturday, Sept. 29

The first Upper Falls Village Day will be held at the on Pettee Street. The all-day celebration will include tables with a number of vendors and community organizations as well as fun activities for the whole family.

Newtonville's first village day will take place on Walnut Street in downtown Newtonville and will also include tables with local vendors, organizations as well as food and activities for the family. According to the city's website, the celebration will also include a Jazz Festival in the evening

Earlier this summer , following in the footsteps of Waban and Newton Highlands.
