Newton residents came together Sunday for Newton Upper Falls Day at Emerson Playground.
The afternoon featured music, games, prizes and other fun activities. Candidates for various city offices made and appearance.
Proceeds from the event will go toward renovating the Emerson Playground. The celebration was sponsored by the Newton Upper Falls Community Development Corporation and the Newton Upper Falls Area Council.
