Newton Will Commemorate 9-11 on Wednesday
Mayor Setti Warren will speak at the event at the Newton Centre Fire Department Headquarters.
Commemorate the 12th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001 at the Newton 9-11 Memorial on Wednesday evening.
The Newton 9-11 Memorial Committee and the City of Newton present the annual 9-11 commemoration at 6 p.m. Mayor Setti Warren will speak at the event and memorial text will be read.
The memorial is located in front of the Newton Centre Fire Department Headquarters 1164 Centre Street.
The public is invited to attend the event.
