PHOTOS: Newton Girl Scouts Honor Local Veterans

A group of Newton girl scouts from Ward Elementary gathered at the Newton Cemetery Wednesday to place flags on veterans' graves in preparation for the city's Memorial Day ceremonies on Sun., May 27.

The city of Newton will hold their Memorial Day observances on Sun., May 27 at various parks and memorials throughout the city. The ceremonies will culminate at the at noon. .
