BEN SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS PRESENTS
"A CONCERT TO REMEMBER" ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2012 FEATURING EMMY AWARD WINNER FAITH RIVERA

Ben Speaks Louder Than Words, a 501c(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth, will hold its third annual "A Concert To Remember" on September 29, 2012 at the First Baptist Church (848 Beacon St., Newton Centre, Mass.). The concert will provide much-needed funds for the organization¹s program C.A.R.E. (Creating Alternative Resources for Expression), and invites parents and friends to remember loved ones who have lost their lives tragically.

The concert runs from 7-10 p.m., and features music, resources, and a moving candle lighting ceremony to remember loved ones lost recently. Words, artistic expression, and song will offer inspiration, friendship and understanding to anyone mourning the loss of a loved one.

Emmy award winner Faith Rivera serves as the concert¹s featured performer, among many other local acts taking the stage. Faith serves as a Peace Ambassador for Fine & Performing Artists for World Peace, and was named the 2008 Biggest Giver for the HUB/Manifest Foundation providing food, water, education, and micro-loans to women and children around the globe. Her upbeat music has been used for television, humanitarian organizations, spiritual centers, and more. She has performed at the Hollywood Bowl and with the Honolulu Symphony, and has sung with Luther Vandross, Neil Young, and other popular artists.

"Everyone struggles with self-doubt. So an organization like Ben Speaks that is sharing an uplifting message of self-worth is doing such needed work in the world and it’s definitely in line with the intention of my own music," said Rivera. "I am honored and excited to be a part of “A Concert to Remember” and even more, to be part of a community that works to empower teens from the inside out."

Thanks to generous sponsors, admission is by voluntary donation, a suggested $20-25. Space is limited -- reservations are encouraged. Please RSVP online at <http://www.benspeaks.org/> and email judygio@aol.com for sponsorship information. All net proceeds benefit Ben Speaks, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering our youth to be the change they want to see in the world, and providing positive outlets for young people to channel their emotions.

Ben Speaks is generously supported in part by Visions Tattoo, Piercing & Fine Art Gallery, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Middlesex Bank.
