From Russia With Arts and Culture Festival in Newton

The City of Newton is home to a wide spectrum of Russian immigrant talent: scientists, musicians, artists, doctors, great teachers and business owners, The Festival on 20-22 April will present both classical and jazz musicians, film makers, authors, dancers, a fashion show with modeling of clothing and jewelry, Russian handicrafts and of course many of best Russian artists living in Newton and metropolitan area as well as several who still live in Moscow, Russia.

 The Opening Exhibit Reception on Friday, April 20 will include sampling foods and sweets from Baza Food Market and famous Cafe St.Petersburg. The festival being organized with the assistance of the FROM RUSSIA WITH ART Gallery and the Russian American Cultural Center of Boston at Russia Wharf.The Festival will be opened by Mayor, Setti Warren, and followed by short concert by Newton residents pianist, Tatyana Dudochkin, New England Concervatory , and Yelena Dudochkin, soprano, Boston Summer Opera. Open Saturday 10AM-7PM and Sunday 10AM-6PM.
