Film trucks, trailers and equipment will fill the area around Newton City Hall next week as crews film scenes for ABC's new TV movie, "The Makeover", starring Julia Stiles.
The "large-scale filming project" will begin setting up on Monday and film throughout the day on Tuesday, according to Newton Citizen Assistance Officer Aaron Goldman.
Scenes for the movie will be filmed inside the War Memorial, at the Inspectional Services counter and inside City Hall's main rotunda.
Film crews will also be at City Hall on Wednesday to clean up the set and take down any remaining equipment.
"The work will be very visible throughout all three days, especially on Tuesday, with a significant amount of trucks and equipment outside the building," Goldman said in an email.
Approximately 150 cast and crew members are expected to be on set for the filming, Goldman added.
