Cyber Monday: Are You "Shopping"?

Bargain hunters spent more than $1 billion online last year. Will you join them this year? Share your deals with readers!

Black Friday is done. Small Business Saturday, over. But fear not, bargain shoppers — today is Cyber Monday.

Launched by Shop.org in 2005 as a way to carry forth the shopping momentum of Black Friday, by last year Cyber Monday had enticed shoppers to spend more than $1 billion online, according to comScore — the most spent in on cybershopping in a single day.

And it’s no wonder. With deals rivaling Black Friday doorbusters a mere click away — and the day currently being repackaged as “Cyber Week” by many retailers — it’s tempting for many to continue bargain hunting at their desks.
