Get Ready for Newton-Needham Chamber's Spring Seasonings [Video]

The Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce has announced that its annual Spring Seasonings: Tastes of Our Neighborhood restaurant and food event will take place Monday, April 30 from 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the .  This annual event features samples of food and cuisine from approximately forty (40) restaurants across Newton and Needham and represents a true cross section of the exceptional cuisine and food culture that exists in those communities.

“The Newton Needham Chamber has gone to great lengths this year to make this event, more than ever, by local restaurants for local restaurants,” said Robert Halpin, Chamber President.  “We have good guidance and advice from an exceptional Honorary Committee that has reshaped the event and we are exceptionally pleased that Roger Berkowitz, President and CEO of Legal Sea Foods signed on to serve as the Honorary Chairman for this year’s event.  The result has been a very positive response from restaurants and we think the event will be best the yet.”

The Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce plans to honor Roger Berkowitz of Legal Sea Foods at the 2012 Spring Seasonings event in recognition his outstanding contributions to the restaurant and food culture in metropolitan Boston, including the long standing presence of the Legal Sea Foods restaurant in Chestnut Hill.
