The businesses will offer special discounts, treats or promotions for patrons who stop in during the Stroll & Shop.

Similar to last year's Stroll & Shop event, art exhibits will be set up in Newton Centre's empty storefronts ang bank lobbies. Local musicians will be providing "pop-up" performances in the art spaces as well.

For this year's Stroll & Shop, the NCA is teaming up with the Birthday Wishes organization and its 2012 Luminary Night, an evening where cities light "luminary kits" to show support for the organization's mission to bring birthday parties to homeless children. The starred businesses in the map above are those businesses participating in the luminary night.
