New Clothing Boutique will Open Soon in Newton's Chestnut Hill Square

Chestnut Hill Square will welcome clothing boutique The Sail Loft on Saturday, Dec. 14.

The store started on Nantucket and the Newton location will feature both The Sail Loft and Her Sail Loft. 

The store features timeless, nautical and contemporary styles with a true New England twist. Along with Sail Loft originals, the store will include items from Tory Burch, Trina Turk, Rory, Beca, Ellie Kai, Joie, Mara Hoffman, DVF, Ted Baker, Vince, Rebecca Taylor, and Persol among others. 

Sail Loft Chestnut Hill is owned by longtime friends Robert Noe Jr. and Peter Mugford, two young entrepreneurs who started in business selling T-shirts while in high school, according to the store announcement. They soon moved to branded college insignia sportswear, and the business became a thriving company. The success of their two boutiques on Nantucket has led to the opening of their first Sail Loft boutique off island.  

Chestnut Hill Square already features retailers Anthropologie, True Runner, Athleta, Drybar, Century Bank and Paper Source, as well as dining options that include Seasons 52, Brio Tuscan Grille and The Capital Grille.

New stores opening soon include Panera Bread, Red Mango and Starbucks.
