Restaurant Roundup: Hopsters, BRIO Hiring, Goodbye UNOs

See what's happening in the Newton restaurant scene.

Newton's new brew-your-own-beer store welcomed Mayor Setti Warren to its grand opening this week.

Hopster's Brew & Boards opened in the former Prana Cafe location at 292 Centre St. in Newton Corner. While people brew they can enjoy a beer and a bite to eat, said owner Lee Cooper. The food includes high-end deli meats provided by Joshua Smith, who worked at Tico in the Back Bay and is opening Moody’s Delicatessen & Provisions in Waltham.

New Chestnut Hill Restaurant Hiring

The menu for the restaurant at 200 Boylston St. in Chestnut Hill will include
oven-roasted steaks, chops and seafood, similar to what one would find in an authentic ristorante in Tuscany.

Applicants can apply online at www.workatbrio.com or in person at the
BRIO Hiring Site at the Sheraton Needham Hotel 100 Cabot St. in Needham. For information see the website or call 781-400-0165.
