See Which Newton Restaurant Has Closed

A Newton Corner eatery has closed its doors.

The Newton location of UNO Chicago Grill has closed, according to an email sent out to customers.

A Newton Patch reader received an email saying that the restaurant at 287 Washington St. in Newton Corner is no longer open for business.

"It's with sadness we write to let you know that our UNO® in Newton has closed. We have enjoyed being a part of this wonderful community for the past twenty-one years, and will truly miss the friendships and partnerships we have made. Our entire staff will sincerely miss serving you and we thank you for sharing your time (and appetite) with us," the email read.

No one answered the phone at UNO when a call was placed on Monday morning.

The chain famous for Chicago deep dish pizza has locations in Waltham, Harvard Square in Cambridge and in Framingham.
