See Which Newton Restaurant Phantom Gourmet Recently Featured

Phantom Gourmet visited Newton's Cook restaurant recently and highlighted some of the restaurant's tasty offerings.

Phantom describes the food at the eatery on Washington Street in Newtonville as "deliciously approachable."

Chef Paul Turano told Phantom that Cook is the neighborhood restaurant he always wanted near his house. His goal is to provide good, regular food, and said he wants people to be able to look at the menu and know what they are looking at.

Cook features "Snacks" rather than appetizers, including bacon carmel popcorn, fried clams, fires with dipping sauces and meatballs.
