By far one of the truly best places. I hope another seafood restaurant of this caliber will come to Newton.

Serves them right for dropping the ginger calamari from the menu.

So many memorable family and friend get togethers and special moments spent over the past 12 years at Skipjacks Newton. Hopefully an equally great seafood place will fill the shoes left behind on Needham Street, of equal service, and quality of food and wait staff. Sherri Guiness

While I will admit I was never much of a fish eater, I always got a great meal at Skipjack's. As an aside note, I still miss the restaurant that was there prior. Tang Dynasty, smiley and the gang.

We went away for three weeks and came back to three favorite restaurants in the Needham/Newton area closed. Skipjack had wonderful fish and delightful chopped salad. It will be missed. Laurie
