Supercuts Raising Money to Pay Bills of Hair Stylist and Her Daughter Who Were Injured in Bombing

The Newton salon joins salons around the area in Boston Strong Celeste-a-Thon on May 13.

On Monday May 13, Supercuts in Newton will join Boston area salons in an effort to raise money for a Boston hair stylist and her daughter who were severely injured in the Boston Marathon Bombings.

Celeste Corcoran worked at Emerge Spa & Salon for more than 13 years. The Boston Strong Celeste-a-Thon will raise money to pay for the medical costs for Celeste and her daughter Sydney.

A percentage of all proceeds and sales from Supercuts on May 13 will go to the Celeste and Sydney Recovery Fund.

The Supercuts in Newton joins Supercuts salons around New England and 20 other area salons in the effort to raise money to help the mother and daughter.

Additional donations can be made by mailing a check to Enterprise Bank, Celeste & Sydney Fund, 1120 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876; or donate to online the at GoFundMe.com.
