Wegmans Delivers 18,000 Pounds of Food to Greater Boston Food Bank
Wegmans, which is opening its Chestnut Hill location this spring, donated 16.5 million pounds of food to local food banks, pantries and soup kitchens in 2013.
Wegmans donated 18,000 to The Greater Boston Food Bank that will be distributed to the Newton Food Pantry and Centre Street Food Pantry.
The items were canned fruits, vegetables, soups, juices, and cereals.
