Dr. Joseph Russo to Serve as Medical Director of La Residencia Spa

La Residencia Spa (http://www.laresidenciaspa.com), a day spa dedicated to helping its clientele achieve physical, emotional, spiritual and nutritional health, today announced they have selected Joseph Russo, M.D., one of the Boston areas best known plastic surgeons, to oversee their medical spa services.

Dr. Russo will help the Best of Boston spa select new treatments and products as well as oversee the performance of medically oriented anti-aging treatments. In addition, Dr. Russo and his staff will perform on-site fillers and other injectables.

“Both Dr. Russo and I are committed to remaining on the cutting-edge of technology and offering the latest, most effective treatments so it was a natural fit,” said Jane Aransky, owner of La Residencia Spa. “Together we have a lot of new things that we are planning on offering, and are excited about making these new products and services available to our clients starting this fall.”

Dr. Russo is a Board Certified, Harvard trained Plastic Surgeon who has been in private practice in Newton Centre since 1991.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (A.S.P.S.), a member of the New England Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (N.E.S.P.R.S) and a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and went on to do his General Surgery Residence at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and Harvard Medical School.  He completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and Harvard Medical School.
