Five Things You Need to Know Today: Jan. 19

2. Movie showing. The Newton Free Library will show the family-friendly film ParaNorman this afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Druker Auditorium.

3. Go Lions! The Newton South girls' varsity ice hockey team will face Westford Academy in a home match this afternoon at 2:15 p.m. The game will take place at the Dexter School in Brookline (20 Newton St.)
