A MEDICARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY CONVERSATION WITH AARP
On Wednesday, August 28, at 1:30 p.m., AARP Massachusetts invites local residents to voice their thoughts about the future of Medicare and Social Security during a You’ve Earned a Say Community Conversation at the Newton Senior Center. With You’ve Earned a Say, AARP is fighting for responsible, commonsense solutions that will secure Medicare and Social Security for generations of families and keep the promise to seniors.
The You’ve Earned a Say conversation in Newton will be moderated by Linda Fitzgerald, state president for AARP Massachusetts, which serves more than 800,000 members age 50 and older in the commonwealth. She says, “Through You’ve Earned a Say, we’re providing Americans with balanced information about Medicare and Social Security proposals to keep you updated without the political jargon and spin. Ensure your voice is heard so our leaders in Washington aren’t making decisions about the future of Medicare and Social Security without hearing from you.”
