Adult Learning Series in Newton

Learn
about America from 1776-1800, the poetry of Israel, Israel’s Declaration of
Independence, chair yoga, Judaica on display at the Museum of Fine Arts and
current events at the JCC’s six-week Explorations adult learning series. The
program will be held at Temple Beth Avodah (45 Puddingstone Lane) in Newton and
will run for six consecutive Thursdays beginning July 10 from 10am-12:30pm.
Speakers include MFA Curator Marietta Cambareri, presidential historian and
professor Gary Hylander, and former executive director of the American Jewish
Committee (Boston Chapter) Dr. Lawrence Lowenthal. Cost is $68. Open to all.
Sponsored by the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston. All JCC arts and
humanities offerings are programs of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the
