ANNUAL SUMMER OUTDOOR CONCERT & PICNIC AT HEMLOCK GORGE RESERVATION - HAMILTON PLACE

Friends of the Hemlock Gorge and MA Dept of Conservation and Recreation invite you to bring your picnic supper, a chair or blanket and enjoy the setting along the Charles River.  Kick back to the sounds of Broken Rose, a very talented band performing classic rock and originals. Copies of Ken Newcomb’s book about the history of Newton Upper Falls, “the Makers of the Mold” will be available at $18 per copy.

Hemlock Gorge is a 23-acre preserve along the Charles River in Needham, Newton and Wellesley and includes Echo Bridge, which was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1982 and managed by the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation.  The Friends of Hemlock Gorge watch over the preserve, host annual events such as the Spring and Fall Cleanups, Annual Picnic and document the area's history.
