Boston Prostate Cancer Walk & 5k

The longest running prostate cancer event in Massachusetts, The Boston Prostate Cancer Walk was started in 2001. All proceeds support prostate cancer education, advocacy, and research in Massachusetts.

Many of new and exciting changes have occurred this year. We have partnered with several of the most respected prostate cancer advocate organizations in Massachusetts to expand our reach and fundraising capacity. We are excited to welcome our partners, AdMeTech Foundation, the Massachusetts Prostate Cancer Coalition, UsToo International, the Melanoma Foundation of New England and Run Against Cancer Events in our goal to raise $200,000 in 2013.

We are also excited to add a 5k (3.1 mile) Road Race to the 2013 event! Participants have the choice to register for the 1 mile walk or 5K run. We have also contracted RACE (Run Against Cancer Events) to manage our race in 2013. RACE will manage all of our registrations using the online registration tool called RACE MENU. All walkers and racers will receive a number bib and timing chip so we can record and post times.
