A musical journey through the history of female composers of a cappella: chant, motets, and madrigals, featuring Hildegard von Bingen, Vittoria/Rafaella Aleotti, Hilary Tann, Patricia Van Ness, and Dorothy Crawford


Cappella Clausura is Boston’s ensemble of voices and early music instruments whose goal is to research and bring to light works written by women from the 9th century to the present day. Directed by Amelia LeClair.
