NEWTON TAX OVERRIDES: IMPACT ON SENIORS

Newton at Home is sponsoring this informative public meeting on the upcoming tax override proposals and the specific impact they will have on Newton’s senior citizens.


Find out what the three proposed overrides are all about, how they will affect your taxes and the value of your home and what tax assistance programs are available for qualified seniors and veterans.


Former President of the Newton Board of Aldermen, Brooke Lipsitt, will moderate a discussion of the override proposals with representatives favoring and opposing the issue.  Light refreshments will be served.  For more information call Newton at Home at 617-795-2560.
