Servizio Italino ha Elevation Chapel

The Church was founded in 1971 by a group of Italian Immigrants led by Rev. Nicola Cavallo, Rev. Martino DiBenedetto, Rev. Mario Chisari, Joseph Pancaldo, Antonino and Teresa Passamonte and Frank Fodera.
In 1975, they constructed a brand new house of worship at 150 Lowell Avenue in Newton.
It was built by the sweat and perseverance of all of its members as a perpetual house of prayer and worship for all nations.
The small Italian group still meets on Sundays at 9:00am and is currently led by Rev. Mario Chisari.
There is a time of personal testimony and a sermon in Italian. They still enjoy singing from the original Italian hymnals.
