Exhibition Reception & Artist Talk: Arctic Visions by Lisa Goren

From Iceland to Svalbard, Goren is inspired by the landscape
near and above the Arctic Circle. As a member of the 2013 voyage of Arctic
Circle, Goren spent 3 weeks in the Arctic in the fall of 2013 and will present
stories and photos of her experience – Painting! Polar Bears! “Swimming”! and
more. Working exclusively in watercolors, Lisa is focused on bringing the
colors of the “barren” Polar regions to new audiences. The talk will begin
at 6pm. Light refreshments will be served.
