Free screening of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 on March 13

Belmont
Savings Bank will sponsor a special movie presentation at
the West Newton Cinema for families to enjoy as part of their early-release school
free movie series held throughout the month of March.

The
free movie series begins Thursday, March 13 at 1:30 - 3 p.m. with the animated
comedy hit, Cloudy with
a Chance of Meatballs 2. In addition to free
admission, Belmont Savings will be offering free popcorn as well as a coloring
contest. The winner of the coloring contest will win a movie package.

 Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 will also be shown at Belmont Studio Cinema for Belmont
elementary school students on March 19th at 1:00 pm, and Watertown elementary
school students on March 20th at 1:00pm.

 “Our Free
Movies Matinees in March have become a tradition each year for the families in
our footprint to come and enjoy,” said Bob Mahoney, President and CEO of
Belmont Savings Bank. “The movies we show free of charge are the perfect
destinations for students and parents looking for a good way to spend their
time in March on their early release days.”

All children attending the free movie matinee must be accompanied by an
adult. Parents that attend may enter to win a Go Pro camera courtesy of the
Bank.

Cloudy with a Chance
of Meatballs 2 is a 2013 computer-animated science fiction comedy.
The film is the sequel to the 2009 film Cloudy
with a Chance of Meatballs, in which a food-making machine gets out of
control, but its creator—young inventor Flint—manages to stop it with the help
of his friends.
