A new mom support group will be held at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community
Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. This 6 week class runs on Thursdays,
July 10-August 14 from 12-1:30pm and costs $145. Moms of babies ages 3-6 months learn more
about your baby and how they are growing and developing while still receiving
the support and friendship with other moms. Moms and babies will experience new
ways to engage and interact with them through songs, parachute play and other
developmentally appropriate activities and toys. Led by a former Isis Parenting instructor,
this class will also cover topics such as getting out and about with baby,
feeding the family, safety and baby proofing, sleep, health and wellness.
