Holiday Hustle! is a road race with fun for the entire
family. Kick off the holiday season with
a fun race for a great cause. Hosted by the John M. Barry Boys &
Girls Club of Newton, this race includes a 5K run on a certified, flat course
through the neighborhood of West Newton, professional chip timing by RaceWire, guaranteed
tech shirts to all runners pre-registered by November 15, prizes to top
finishers, and post-race festivities for all!Costumes are highly encouraged, and carolers are always welcome!
This year, we are adding team prizes! Families may create a race team (at least one member must be age 16 and
under) for consideration as our “Fastest Family,” and businesses and community groups alike are also welcome to enter a team (minimum of 5 entrants) for our
“Most Festive Team.” Other award
categories include: Top 3 male and
female overall, top 3 in each age group from 8 and under to 70 and over,
youngest to finish, and fastest in costume.
Whole Foods Market Newtonville will once again generously donate freshly made, hot oatmeal with a fantastic selection of toppings and other breakfast
items. There will be plenty of good
cheer and we hope to see you there!
