Mitzvah Explorers: A Family Exploration of the (Jewish) values of Social Action

A Families with Young Children (FwYC) three-session series about “Making Mitzvah” with ‘lil ones with Parent/Child Development Specialist Jolie Helmbrecht.

A family project and group circle opens each session, followed by age-appropriate, hands-on learning activities for children while adults explore related “grown-up” topics. A closing circle ends each session. 
Some examples of what we will be doing:

  • Making a Mitzvah Wheel (a feel-good exploration of gratitude)
  • Making a Mitzvah Bear
  • Decorating Cards for Birthday Wishes
  • Baking Snacks to Help the Hungry

Bring your young children an join us for this fun and wonderful series!


Cost: $25.00 - Registration is required. 
$25 per session and $65 for all 3 sessions
January 26, February 2 and 9 from 10 AM to 11:15 AM
