8:30am - Noon. Bullough's Pond Fair. Guided birdwatching, fly fishing, en plein air painting, model yacht regatta, arts & crafts for kids, sponsored fundraising kayak race and much more. Free admission.
Noon - 5pm. Jazz Festival & Street Fair in Newtonville Center. 90 Craft & information booths, activities for kids, StreetMURALS painting, Open Houses at the Norumbega Fraternity Lodge of Masons, and the New Art Center. Jazz performances on the Walnut Street sound stage, and local dance studios performances on the Austin Street stage. See the schedule at www.newtoncommunitypride.org. Newtonville residents can exercise their right to vote for the first Neighborhood Area council, at the Austin St. bus shelter.
