Residential Energy Savings Workshop- date changed

The Mayor’s Energy Smart Newton program is

partnering with Green Decade
and Next Step Living to help Newton homeowners

reduce their energy use.
“The Smart Homes”  initiative is a six month program to complete

350
residential no-cost home energy assessments to qualify homeowners for
rebates and subsidies for

further weatrherization projects like insulating and
air sealing. The workshop,

for homeowners and landlords of 1-4 unit buildings,
will discuss building

science and explain the no cost energy assessments,
rebates, subsidies and the

0% loan program for energy improvements from
Mass Save Home Energy program sponsored

by the utilities.
