Solar Workshop for Homeowners

The Mayor’s Energy Smart Newton program and the Newton

Eco-project are sponsoring a workshop to inform residents of the Solar Smart Newton
initiative. This is a six month program offers Newton residents solar PV

installations for  approximately 30% less
than current market rates on residential and small commercial properties. PV or
photovoltaic solar panels can generate enough electricity to meet 100% of the
electricity needed of an average Newton residence. The workshop will cover the
costs, payback period, installation and operation of residential solar panels. The
workshop will take place Wednesday March 12th,  7:15-8:30 pm at Historic Newton’s

Durant/Kenrick Homestead 286 Waverely Ave, Newton Corner (Please park on

Waverley Ave or Kenrick Road).  All are
welcome, e-mail at SolarSmartNewton@gmail.com
with questions or to RSVP.
