Women Connecting for a Cause: Home in One

Fitness fundraiser supports children and families in need

Women and fitness are connecting for a cause! Now is your chance to make a difference. The Home for Little Wanderers returns to Brae Burn Country Club, located at 326 Fuller Street in West Newton, Massachusetts, for its 6th annual Home in One: Women Connecting for Cause fundraiser on Monday, September 26, 2013 from 8:45 a.m. until 6 p.m. This unique event offers women the option to play nine or 18 holes of golf, as well as to participate in fitness activities including tennis or yoga to raise money for one of New England’s largest non-profit child and family service agencies. In addition, the fundraiser features a networking expo and reception and concludes with an awards ceremony.

Through The Home for Little Wanderers’ programs across Boston and Eastern Massachusetts, The Home’s services touch the lives of more than 7,000 children and families who are living in at-risk circumstances each year. Many of the children who come to The Home have had devastating experiences with abuse and neglect and struggle with emotional and behavioral issues. Learn how you can support The Home as a participant or sponsor of Home in One at www.thehome.org/homeineone or by contacting Jamille Benson, jbenson@thehome.org, 617-927-0682.
