A PMC rider reception, a night of poetry and free story time.
1. PMC rider reception. Mayor Setti Warren will host a reception tonight for the local Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) riders. According to a press release issued by Warren's office, PMC Founder Billy Starr and Victoria Kennedy will join Warren for the reception in the War Memorial at . Warren is one of 160 Newton residents already signed up to ride in the PMC. The event will run from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
2. Holy Tuesday Taize. With Easter less than a week away, some Holy Week services are taking place this week here in Newton. will host tonight at 7:30 p.m. We will have more schedules of both Holy Week services and Passover services posted in the coming days and in our events calendar.
3. A night of poetry. Newtonville Books will host a poetry event tonight in their new space at 10 Langley Road in Newton Centre. The event, which starts at 7 p.m., will feature Wendy Mnookin, Leslie Williams, and Rebecca Morgan Frank.

4. Go Tigers! The boys' varsity lacrosse team will face Thayer Academy in a home match today at 4:45 p.m.
