1. CIP discussion. The Newton Board of Aldermen will hold a Capital Improvement Plan and financial forecast discussion with various city staff members tonight at 7 p.m. in the chamber at . The discussion will include information on completed projects as well as possible fiscal 2013 projects. 

2. Big Love. Theatre Ink's latest production, , is set to premiere tonight at  at 7:30 p.m. Directed by Katherine Norris and Caleb Bromberg, the play was inspired by the Greek classic "The Danaides" by Aeschylus. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased online.   

3. Free Coffee! Boston-area bakery cafes will be offering free coffee today between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. as part of the chain's "Warm-up Wednesday" campaign. In addition to the bakeries, Panera will also be giving out free coffee at a "surprise" location: Government Center. 

4. Go Tigers! The boys' varsity ice hockey team will face Wellesley in a home match tonight at 7 p.m. The game will take place at the 's Coffin Rink.
