Five Things You Need to Know Today: Sept. 7

A soccer game, a farmers' market and a free movie and concert.

1. Get caught up. If you missed any of our election coverage yesterday, check out our elections page for stories on the race results and how Newton voted. 

2. Free movie & concert. It's the final free movie and concert at the  this summer! Starting at 6 p.m. Loose Change (rock and blues music) will perform. After the concert, there will be a free showing of Dirty Dancing. Both the concert and the movie will take place outside the center, but will be moved into the gym if it rains. Admission is free and snacks/drinks will be sold during the shows.

3. Farmers' market. The will set up at today from noon - 5 p.m.

4. Off-Leash Area Working Group. The group will meet to discuss an off-leash dog park area at Edmands Park. The meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. in room 202 at . 

5. Go Tigers! The boys' varsity soccer team will face Walpole High today in a home match at 3:45 p.m.
