an email request to setti warren, mayor, re any information re possible tracking devices, beacons, or spyware planted on my computers [and yours] as a result of reading a city of newton email from city hall, was answered by setti warren's newton counsel. the emails will be published, in time. setti warren 'lawyered up' as is his absolute right as it is now my right to have questioned and answered whether any type of spyware in official city emails was imbedded in my computers [and yours] and if so what was mined and their use, all vetted so all of newton and the nation be made aware of any possible tracking by a reader of official city emails from setti warren....especially the possible effects of privacy in the computers of folks in newton and particular law offices/medical offices where any device might have been planted.....the city lawyer did not deny any such apparent beacon and gathering of data, rather asked for dates, times, and addresses...et al.....the request of the lawyer responding for setti warren was answered with a reference to a sec of state apparent ruling that was irrevelant to the matter at hand....
the issue is did the city of newton, or its contractor, plant any device of any type kind or nature on any computers of those that read offical messages of setti warren acting as mayor, and if so what was 'mined' and what was shared with any political committee....
a further update and the emails refrenced will be published in due course......
we appreciate and respect setti warren, as mayor, relying to my email request through counsel as is his constitutional rights which i respect....
.i will wait for the reply to the lawful request that might well effect the right to privacy of every newton resident.....if no device was every planted, if no data from your computer mined, the matter ends...if otherwise there will be more questions that must be answered....best to all....... unp
