Echo Bridge in Music

Musical sidelights to Echo Bridge

You are probably familiar with Echo Bridge and the surrounding Hemlock Gorge as a great scenic landmark and walking area, but it is also associated with music. Recently it was the scene for a short music clip that exploits, via saxophone, it echoing effect. You can view the video HERE.

Also, "Echo Bridge" gave its name to a bluegrass band that played around the area (greater Boston) for about a dozen years. The band is now defunct, but it issued a CD that is now on YouTube. You can find it by Googling "Echo Bridge Bluegrass" or by going directly to this video page

Click on the "Video" link at the right to hear the title song.

(Full disclosure: Mark was a member of the band, singing, playing mandolin, and writing several of the songs.)
