Agnes Kosori, 80, of Newton, Owned Newbury Street Cafe

Agnes G. Kosori of Newton died on Dec. 14 at the age of 80.

She was born in Budapest, Hungary, and has lived in Massachusetts since 1956. Along with her mother Margaret, she was the former owner of Cafe Florian on Newbury Street in Boston - The Hub's first European-style sidewalk cafe. Later she became a real estate broker, according to an obituary on the Lehman, Reen, McNamara Funeral Home website.

She was the wife of the late Alexander Korosi; mother of Alexandra and her husband Gregg of Acton, and Anthony and his wife Laura of Hastings on Hudson, N.Y.; and grandmother of Rachel, Charles, Jack and Sarah. 

Visiting Hours will be held in the Lehman, Reen and McNamara Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 19 from 6-9 p.m. Interment will be private.
