David Henry Jones, 75, Born and Raised in Newton
Jones was a lieutenant in the Navy and loved to travel, garden and listen to classical music.
David Henry Jones, 75, of Mill Valley, CA, passed away on Sept. 20, 2012 at his home.
Jones was born in Newton and lived much of his life here until moving to the West Coast eight years ago, according to his obituary.
Jones attended Yale University and MIT before becoming a chemical engineer for the Badger Company in Cambridge, MA, where he worked for 35 years. He was also a lieutenant in the Navy where he served on the USS Hancock.

A memorial service was held in Jones' honor at The Community Church of Mill Valley.
