Kenneth Richard Hastings of Auburdale died on Dec. 9 at the age of 88.
He was father of the late William Hastings and stepfather of Paula E. Chesbrough of Auburndale, Robert J. and his wife Corinne Chesbrough of Woburn, Donna Jobity and her husband Patrick of Wareham; brother of the late George Hastings; and is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, according to an obituary on the Burke Family Funeral Homes website.
Funeral services will be at Burke and Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Needham.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Kenneth's memory to MSCPA/Angell, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
